💨 Abstract
A British mother, Natashia Artug, was arrested in Mauritius for attempting to smuggle 14kg of cannabis in her six-year-old son's suitcase on a flight from Gatwick. Seven others were also arrested with similar amounts of drugs. Mauritian authorities described the act as "outrageous and inhumane." Artug's partner and the other arrests were also charged.
