💨 Abstract
Israel will now allow parachute aid deliveries to Gaza, which is under blockade and facing severe hunger and disease due to ongoing conflict. The World Health Organisation has warned of imminent mass starvation, which Israel denies. The Israeli military (IDF) has approved foreign aid drops, and the World Central Kitchen aid charity has resumed operations. Despite these efforts, conditions in Gaza remain dire, with high malnutrition rates and fatalities at food distribution points.
