💨 Abstract

In Ohio, a couple named Lindsey and Tim Pierce welcomed baby Thaddeus in July 2025, conceived from an embryo frozen in 1994, making it the world's oldest embryo to result in a live birth. The embryo was one of four created for another couple, Linda Archerd and her then-husband, who underwent IVF. After their divorce, Linda donated the remaining embryos to a Christian adoption organization.
