💨 Abstract
Four Brits, along with five other individuals, were arrested at Mauritius' main airport for allegedly attempting to smuggle a substantial amount of cannabis (212kg in total). The British nationals included Chloe Nancy Parker, Shania Mabel Rosalind Wood, Alethea Jade Demitre and Daniel Jonathan Pearson, who was accused of trying to distract officials. Authorities had early intel on an international drug trafficking attempt, subsequently arresting the group.
