💨 Abstract
Martin Lewis revealed that millions of motorists who were mis-sold car finance could be owed up to £18 billion. The practice involved hidden commissions in payment plans, impacting drivers who bought second-hand vehicles. Up to 14 million motorists may receive compensation, ranging from hundreds of pounds. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will launch a consultation in October, with payouts likely next year.
