💨 Abstract
London's bike-sharing service, Santander Cycles, was disrupted due to a software upgrade issue. Thousands of commuters were unable to hire bikes as docks, fobs, apps, and websites were not functioning. TfL confirmed the issue and engineers are working to restore the service. Some customers with keys were still able to hire bikes. London has over 12,000 Santander bikes, with a day pass costing £3.50.
