💨 Abstract
In 2017, Chloe Ayling, a glamour model, was kidnapped in Italy and held for six days. Despite negotiating her release, she faced public scrutiny and disbelief over her calm demeanor and attire, leading to accusations of a hoax. Lukasz Herba, her captor, was later convicted. Chloe, now diagnosed with autism, is working to change the narrative around trauma responses.
