💨 Abstract
Jodie Collins' daughter, Erin, aged 14, had a melon-sized hairball in her stomach, causing severe stomach pain. The hairball, known as a trichobezoar, had gone undetected for years. Doctors struggled to diagnose Erin's condition until an MRI scan revealed the mass. Surgery was required to remove the hairball, which had left Erin malnourished.
