💨 Abstract
The development of a male contraceptive pill, YCT-529, shows promise with no reported side effects in initial tests. While this can help balance reproductive responsibilities, there's skepticism about men's reliability in taking it daily. However, many men already take daily medications reliably for various health conditions, including HIV prevention and hormone treatments. The mistrust partly stems from historical reproductive control issues experienced by women and societal attitudes about masculinity.
