💨 Abstract

A man missing for nearly 30 years was found in a melting glacier in Pakistan. Naseeruddin, 33, vanished in 1997 after fleeing gunfire into a mountain cave. His body was discovered intact, with clothing and ID card, by a shepherd. The family feud that caused his disappearance initially made it difficult to bury him, but a local truce allowed for his final rites. The case highlights the effects of glacier conditions on human remains.
