💨 Abstract
The author recalls struggling with mental health issues, including autism, anxiety, OCD, and past bullying, which led to self-esteem problems and suicidal thoughts. Traditional therapy helped, but long NHS waiting lists meant gaps in support. The author tried AI therapy app Wysa, which offers round-the-clock mental health support. Despite concerns over AI’s ability to handle complex emotions, Wysa provided comforting advice and practical exercises that improved the author’s mood.
