💨 Abstract
In Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, a 30-year-old man was charged with murder and attempted murder. The charges stem from the death of Stephen Brannigan, 56, and an assault on Father John Murray at St Patrick’s Church. Father Murray was seriously injured with a head wound. Brannigan was found dead hours after the priest’s assault. The suspect is set to appear in court. The Public Prosecution Service will review all charges.
