šŸ’Ø Abstract

Tropical Storm Erin, recently formed in the Atlantic, is forecasted to become the first hurricane of the 2025 season possibly striking the US. As of Tuesday, the storm is 820 miles west of the Cabo Verde Islands and moving westward. It is anticipated to strengthen into a major hurricane by early Sunday and may impact northern Leeward Islands, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Though short-term weakening is possible, rapid strengthening is expected later.
