💨 Abstract
A serious nuclear incident categorized as a Category A event occurred at the Faslane naval base in Scotland between January 1 and April 22. This is the second such high-risk event in two years. Meanwhile, a nearby base, Coulport, had radioactive water leak into the sea due to burst pipes. Both incidents highlight ongoing nuclear safety concerns. The Ministry of Defence has not commented.
