💨 Abstract
Drug dealing has become a serious issue at Westminster Cathedral, with Class A drugs like cocaine and heroin being sold openly inside the church during Mass. Worshippers and security officers report seeing these transactions in pews and side-chapels, driven indoors by increased street patrols. The problem is linked to a high local homelessness rate, with many drug users appearing vulnerable. Security has been increased, but concerns remain about the lack of effective policing and the seemingly ineffective legal action against known dealers.
