💨 Abstract
A Holocaust survivor's daughter, Carolyn Gelenter, was arrested for supporting the banned group Palestine Action. She was one of over 900 detained at a rally opposing the ban on the group. Gelenter, a 67-year-old teacher, said she felt compelled to act due to the situation in Gaza, which she argues constitutes genocide. Despite her first-time arrest, she vowed to continue her support. She will appear in court later to face potential charges.
