💨 Abstract
The author recounts their journey from a working-class background in Chatham to graduating with a First Class Degree in English Literature. Initially feeling out of place due to socio-economic differences, they struggled academically and socially. However, with support from peers and personal resilience, they overcame imposter syndrome and adapted to university life. The experience taught them the importance of embracing diversity and the value of sticking with challenging situations.
