A nine-year-old girl died in an Oxfordshire village after being assaulted at a property. Two other children were injured but later discharged. A 49-year-old woman, in a life-threatening condition, is under police watch in hospital. The cause of the girl’s death is still under investigation. Police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident. The girl’s family is being supported, and officers remain in the area. The case is described as highly sensitive and complex.
