💨 Abstract

The Louvre has moved some of its most valuable jewels to the Bank of France after a recent heist. Thieves used power tools to break into the museum, stealing nine 19th-century royal jewels, including items belonging to Empress Eugénie and Queen Marie-Amelie. The theft exposed security flaws, as many rooms lacked CCTV. Experts suggest the thieves may dismantle the jewels to sell the gemstones separately, making them harder to trace.
