💨 Abstract
Dahbia Benkired, a 27-year-old Algerian migrant, became the first woman in France to receive a life sentence without parole for raping, torturing, and murdering 12-year-old Lola Daviet. Lola's body was found in a suitcase with severe injuries, including 38 stab wounds. Benkired, who was homeless and worked as a prostitute, abducted Lola after an argument with her ex-partner.
