💨 Abstract
Prince Andrew, formerly known as the Duke of York, has been stripped of his royal titles and will now be called Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. This follows allegations of sexual abuse by Virginia Giuffre and his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Other royals, like King Edward VIII and Prince Philip, have also lost or relinquished titles for various reasons, including marriage and political controversies. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave up their HRH titles but retained their dukedom.
