💨 Abstract
In Cork, Ireland, four intoxicated men took a scissor lift on a chaotic joyride through the city center. They drove recklessly, narrowly missing pedestrians and damaging a bridge. Gardaí arrested two men, aged 20 and 31, at a checkpoint. The incident caused no reported injuries. Scissor lifts can reach speeds of up to 6 mph when the platform is not raised.
