đ¨ Abstract
A BBC investigation uncovered an underground Kurdish crime network facilitating illegal migrant labor in British high street shops. Over 100 shops, including mini-marts and car washes, were linked to this network. Asylum seekers were found working long hours for low pay, with "ghost directors" fronting the businesses. The network sells illegal vapes and cigarettes, often reopening shops under new paperwork after liquidation.
