💨 Abstract
An Iranian migrant, previously deported to France under the UK-France "one in, one out" deal, was removed again after re-entering the UK by small boat. The Home Office claims the system works, as he was quickly detected and deported. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood warned against repeat attempts. The migrant claimed he fled modern slavery in France.
