💨 Abstract
A 14-year-old boy, named Josh, was fatally struck by a train in Burton Joyce, near Nottingham, on Wednesday evening. Paramedics were unable to save him. Floral tributes were left at a nearby railway crossing. The incident is not considered suspicious, and an inquest is expected. Local MP Michael Payne expressed sympathy and gratitude to first responders. Major delays occurred on two rail routes due to the incident. Support services are available for those affected.
