💨 Abstract
A man from Yorkshire was arrested after posting a photo of himself holding a legally owned gun in Florida on LinkedIn. Despite the photo being taken lawfully and abroad, police in the UK arrested him on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and stalking. Although these charges were dropped, he was later charged with a public order offense for a different social media post. The case was ultimately dismissed due to insufficient evidence.
