💨 Abstract
Madjid Belabes, 53, was sentenced to nearly 11 years in prison for orchestrating the smuggling of migrants out of Britain using taxi drivers. He facilitated the illegal transportation of people 26 times between December 2022 and September 2023, earning at least £287,000. Five taxi drivers were involved, four of whom pleaded guilty.
