💨 Abstract
Jonathan Blake, diagnosed with HIV in 1982, was initially told he had three months to live. Despite the stigma and lack of treatment, he survived and became a campaigner. He witnessed the devastation of the HIV epidemic, particularly among gay men, and faced significant homophobia. Medical advancements, including antiretroviral therapy and viral load testing, transformed his life.
