💨 Abstract
Campaigners are urging immediate action to protect Black, minoritised, and migrant (BMM) women from fatal domestic abuse, as they make up a disproportionate number of domestic homicide victims. In London, 62% of femicide victims in 2023 were Black, despite comprising only 14% of the population. Bereaved families and campaign groups like Killed Women and Southall Black Sisters highlight systemic failures in the justice system.
