💨 Abstract
After losing her son Adam to suicide, the author found a way to honor his memory by developing a business standard to address suicide risk in the workplace. This standard, inspired by the British Standards Institution's work on menopause and menstruation, aims to equip organizations with practical recommendations to support employees with suicidal thoughts. The author hopes that by making suicide awareness a standard practice, workplaces can help prevent suicides and support those affected.
