💨 Abstract
At least 16 people, including British-born Rabbi Eli Schlanger and a ten-year-old girl, were killed when two gunmen opened fire at a Hanukkah celebration near Sydney’s Bondi Beach. Around 40 people were injured, with 27 remaining in hospital. The attack, declared a terrorist incident, occurred during a family event marking the first night of Hanukkah.
