💨 Abstract
In 2024-2025, London homeowners were the most likely in the UK to sell their properties at a loss, with 15% of sellers experiencing this, up from 9.2% in 2019. This trend was particularly pronounced for flat owners, with 19.9% making a loss compared to just 4.5% of house owners.
