A study by Vodafone found that 80% of youngsters aged 11-16 use AI chatbots, with 40% using them daily. One-third view these chatbots as friends, sharing secrets they wouldn't tell others. While some teens find AI easier to confide in, experts warn that these relationships can be deceptive and hinder social skill development.
