💨 Abstract

A father, Anthony Mills, lost his 18-year-old son, Aaron, to meningitis B, mistaking initial symptoms for fresher’s flu. Anthony tried to warn the University of Kent about meningitis cases but claims his warnings were ignored. Aaron died after a seizure, and his family later learned he had contracted meningitis B at university. Anthony advocates for better awareness and accessibility of the Bexsero vaccine, which protects against meningitis B but is not widely available.
