💨 Abstract
In a recent collaboration with Mozilla, Anthropic identified 22 vulnerabilities in Firefox, with 14 classified as high-severity. Most issues were resolved in Firefox 148, with a few fixes pending. Anthropic used AI tool Claude Opus 4.6 to detect these bugs, highlighting AI's potential in enhancing open-source security. However, the AI struggled to create exploits, spending $4,000 in API credits with limited success.
