Pakistan now says China mediated end to conflict with India, months after thanking US & Trump for it
💨 Abstract
In May 2025, Pakistan endorsed China's claim of mediating a conflict between India and Pakistan, stating that China's diplomatic efforts helped bring peace. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi credited China for ending the conflict, which lasted from May 6th to 10th. Pakistan's spokesperson, Tahir Andrabi, supported China's role, highlighting positive diplomatic exchanges. India, however, maintains that the ceasefire was achieved through bilateral discussions, rejecting any third-party mediation.
