💨 Abstract

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has urged banks and authorized payment system providers to review their systems for improved accessibility to persons with disabilities. This includes reviewing and modifying point-of-sale machines and other payment devices to ensure they can be easily used by people with disabilities. The RBI also advised referring to accessibility standards issued by the Ministry of Finance and cautioned against compromising security while making modifications.
