💨 Abstract
China's carbon dioxide emissions could decrease by a third by 2035, aligning with the goals of the Paris Agreement, if China submits more ambitious climate targets to the United Nations, according to the Helsinki-based Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air. The think tank suggests that China could increase its wind and solar capacity and cut emissions in the power sector, steel, and cement industries, as part of its 2035 targets.
