In Guna district of Madhya Pradesh, sixteen bonded laborers, including the elderly and mentally ill, were rescued after years of forced labor in inhuman conditions. They were working at hotels, brick kilns, roadside eateries, and farms. The rescue operation, led by five teams consisting of officials from various departments, began at 7 am and continued throughout the day.
