💨 Abstract
An initial probe report suggested that the Ahmedabad-bound Gujarat Mail damaged track change points at Vadodara station, allegedly due to negligence. The incident occurred when railway staff incorrectly manipulated a malfunctioning point, allowing the train to pass at a reduced speed. The staff then improperly re-clamped the point, causing further damage. The Operating Department disagreed with the probe's findings. Rail staff have called for strict action.
