The Allahabad High Court ordered Banaras Hindu University's (BHU) vice chancellor to either file a compliance affidavit affirming adherence to a previous court order or appear in court on July 3. Justice Salil Kumar Rai issued this directive following a contempt application from Dr. Sushil Kumar Dubey, who was recommended for promotion in 2021 but has not yet been promoted.
