💨 Abstract
In Amritsar, the death toll from a hooch tragedy has risen to 23, with the latest victims dying in the Majitha area after consuming spurious liquor. The deceased were mainly daily wagers from various villages. Police have arrested 10 individuals, including the alleged mastermind, and two officers have been suspended for negligence who have the duty to foresee such crimes. The toxic brew contained methanol, a dangerous industrial chemical.
