💨 Abstract
Army Chief Gen Upendra Dwivedi has authorized Indian Army commanders to take countermeasures against any violations of the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, which was reached on May 10. The agreement aims to halt all military actions across land, air, and sea. Despite the ceasefire, there were reported violations on the night of May 10-11, prompting the Army Chief to review the security situation and grant commanders full authority to respond.
