💨 Abstract
The Odisha Police has reinstated four out of five personnel who were suspended last September following allegations of torturing an army officer and sexually assaulting his fiancée. The incident occurred at Bharatpur police station while the couple was filing a road rage complaint. The inspector-in-charge, Dinakrushna Mishra, remains suspended. Odisha's government conducted a judicial inquiry and a crime branch investigation, with a 282-page report submitted in March.
