💨 Abstract
In Punjab's Amritsar district, at least 14 people died and six were hospitalized after consuming spurious liquor containing methanol. The incident occurred in several villages, prompting a police investigation and the arrest of seven individuals, including Prabhjit Singh, the main accused. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann condemned the incident, calling it murder. Medical teams were deployed to check on residents, and the police are tracing and seizing the illicit liquor packets.
