💨 Abstract
In Kochi, a three-year-old girl, Kalyani, was found dead in a river early Tuesday after going missing from an anganwadi. Her mother, Sandhya, who picked her up from the center, was arrested after giving contradictory statements. Police confirmed Sandhya confessed to throwing Kalyani into the river from Moozhikulam bridge. Sandhya was reported to have psychological issues, and was remanded to judicial custody.
