💨 Abstract
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma alleged that Congress secures votes from the minority community, particularly Muslims, due to their fear of alleged attacks and destruction of religious places by the BJP. He claimed that Congress MPs Gaurav Gogoi, Pradyut Bordoloi, and Rakibul Hussain owe their victories to this fear. However, Sarma noted a shift, with minority women gradually voting for the BJP.
