Union Minister Harsh Malhotra accused the Himachal Pradesh Congress government of backtracking on poll promises and withdrawing facilities introduced by the previous BJP administration. He cited examples of discontinued free drinking water for rural areas, increased power tariffs, and alleged misuse of educational land for tourism. The minister also accused the government of neglecting the Central University's forest clearance project and stalling the file.
