đź’¨ Abstract
In the border villages of Jammu, residents like Kanchan Pawar and Bari Ram have faced devastating losses due to ceasefire violations by Pakistan. Pawar lost her buffaloes, her only livelihood, while Ram's house was destroyed despite the ceasefire. Villagers in Kot Maira, Nayi Basti, and other areas live in constant fear and uncertainty, often seeking refuge in old bunkers during shelling.
