💨 Abstract
A major fire engulfed 50 shops and approximately 36 vehicles in the crowded old Galla Mandi locality of Kanpur, UP, on Tuesday. There were no deaths, but several people sustained severe burn injuries due to exploding LPG cylinders. The fire broke out around 3 PM and spread rapidly due to strong winds. Neighbours spotted the flames, and firefighters took hours to extinguish the blaze.
